About Us

Established in 1937, Ace Flag has been a family owned and operated small business since our inception. In that time we have grown from a small one person shop that sold American stick flags to one of the major flag, banner, and flagpole distributors in the country. With our storefront located in Depew NY, our flag & gift shop has expanded the selection to way more than just flags. We now proudly carry all types of flags, gifts, decor, and so much more!

Our American, international, state, military and official religious flags are manufactured in the USA along with other items as designated in our item descriptions. Our in-ground flagpoles are also made in the USA, coming from a manufacturer that is based in Virginia or Idaho depending on style. We design, print, and finish vinyl banners and display items in house on our state of the art large format digital printer and have become highly respected visual promotion experts.

Custom flags and banners are one of our many specialties! You can see streets everywhere lined with our street pole banners and festivals decorated with our feather flags, blade banners and teardrop banners. Our professional sales staff can advise you how to get your organization, university, municipality or business noticed. Your imagination is our catalog!

We are the largest sales, service, and installation company for flagpoles in the Western New York region and distribute flagpoles throughout the entire Eastern half of the United States. Flagpole repair is also offered by Ace Flag - with our expert team, we can provide new parts, service, and repair to flagpoles from rope and snap replacement to installing new parts.

With the greatest respect for our flag and our veterans, we repair US flags, accept them for retirement, and offer our veterans a discount on their purchases in store. We also supply cemeteries, towns, and veteran's organizations with United States stick flags that are USA made for display on Memorial Day and other patriotic events.

Large, vivid stars are richly embroidered. Seams are double-needle stitched with premium, extra strength polyester thread, color-matched to stripes with back-stitch reinforcement. Four rows of of high strength lock-stitching on the fly ends reduces fraying and extends the flag life (six rows on larger flags). Sturdy, weather resistant brass grommets provide greater flag security in flags up to 6'x10'. Larger flags feature a roped heading with galvanized thimble. Flags 15'x25' and larger are finished with strengthening corner reinforcements on the fly hem. Flag sizes 15' x 25' or larger are brilliant white appliquéd stars.

Size Tip: Choose a length that is between 1/4 to 1/3 the height of the flagpole.

Q: Do you have your website items in store?

A: Yes we do! Everything that you see on our website that is in stock / available for purchase can also be found in our brick and mortar store located at: 5444 Transit Road, Depew, NY 14043. This store address is our only location.

Q: Why can I not add more of an item to my cart?

A: If our website stops you from adding more of an item to your cart, that simply means that we do not have any more in stock. If you need a larger quantity of something, please contact us and we can try and order more for you. Please note that a lot of seasonal items may no longer be available through our manufacturers as items are discontinued from year to year.

Q: Are the dimensions of items on your website 100% accurate?

A: We try to be! Typically, we take the information from our manufacturers in regards to sizing or hand measure items ourselves depending on the product.

This may not always be 100% accurate for our grommet style flags (sizes such as 2x3', 3x5', 4x6', etc.) as each one is typically cut and manufactured to an approximate sizing scale. Due to the sewing process for these grommet style flags, they may be a few inches off of the true size. This is not something that we have control over. We do not sell any government specification style flags at this time.

Other items such as decorative garden flags, decorative banner flags, and decor are typically hand measured by us here at Ace Flag or by the manufacturers. This sizing is usually within 0.5" or less margin of error. Please refer to the item descriptions for measurements, as we will often add the words "roughly" or "approximately" to avoid any confusion.

Q: Are all your products USA made?

A: Unfortunately, not every single product on our website is American made. Please check the item description of the item that you are curious about to figure out if the product is imported or made in the USA. Some things from us that are ALWAYS made 100% in the US from FMAA certified manufacturers are as follows: nylon American flags, polyester American flags, American stick flags, and official military branch flags.
